    • While heading Japan, he is responsible for overseeing operations and leading the firm’s transaction and operation
    • Jay was one of the initial members and Partner of Riverside Asia Fund, established in 2007

    • Jay was a Partner of Asia Growth Private Equity Fund of PineBridge Investments (previously AIG Asset Management)
    • Prior to that, he was a management consultant at Bain & Company and The Boston Consulting Group. Also, as Asia Regional Director of Manpower Group’s consulting unit

    • Sangwoo Yoon, Lawyer, CFA, is a Director with Seoul Office. He oversees transaction and portfolio operations in Korea
    • He is the General Counsel of Orchestra Private Equity. Together with Managing Partner and CFO, he also manages compliance and ESG

    Experiences

    • Sangwoo has 11 years of experience as a lawyer. He was with Kim & Chang as an attorney with the firm’s M&A Group and Investment Management Group
    • He also served as a Chief Executive Officer of a start-up company, 100Percent, for 2 years
    • He holds a BA degree in Law from Seoul National University and an LLM from Georgetown Law School. He is a member of the Korean Bar Association, and a CFA and FRM charter holder. He is fluent in English and Korean

  • Clarence Ku, CPA CFO Singapore

    • Clarence Ku is Orchestra’s CFO and is with Orchestra’s Singapore Office. He manages fund structuring & formation, LP reporting & IR, and GP general administration
    • Together with OPE’s partners and General Counsel, he also manages compliance and ESG

    Experiences

    • Clarence has 26 years of finance and accounting experience including investment and corporate finance, as well as private equity and venture capital
    • Prior to joining Orchestra, Clarence was the CFO and CIO at Adval Capital and at Singapore Flyer
    • He holds a CPA equivalent from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. He is a Singaporean citizen and fluent in English and Chinese

  • Seokje Song, CPA Manager Korea

    Experiences

    • Prior to Orchestra, Seokje was with KPMG in Financial Advisory Service Unit. He participated in sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory and valuation projects in sectors including food and beverage, infrastructure, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and entertainment

    • He serves on Orchestra’s three-member Investment Committee alongside Jay Kim and Clarence Ku

    • Ray has over 27 years of experience in the funds industry, including at the Executive Managing Director level, with a track record spanning business building, M&A, post-merger integration, strategic initiatives, personnel management, marketing, branding, and sales. He has completed 15 acquisitions, including the global integration of ABN AMRO’s businesses with Equity Trust
    • He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in the UK in 1989 and became a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 1995
