    • Jay was a Partner of Asia Growth Private Equity Fund of PineBridge Investments (previously AIG Asset Management)
    • Prior to that, he was a management consultant at Bain & Company and BCG. Also, as Asia Regional Director of Manpower Group’s consulting unit
    • He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and a BA in Economics and BA in Asian Studies from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a CFA charter holder and a US citizen with fluency in English, Korean, and Japanese

    • Kan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from The University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He attained his CPA in the US. He has resided in 6 countries and is fluent in English and Japanese

    • Sangwoo Yoon is a Managing Director of Korea at Orchestra. Based in Seoul, he manages Korea’s transactions and portfolio operations
    • He is the General Counsel of Orchestra Private Equity. Together with Managing Partner and CFO, he also manages compliance and ESG

    Experiences

    • Sangwoo has 11 years of experience as a lawyer. He was with Kim & Chang as an attorney with the firm’s M&A Group and Investment Management Group
    • He also served as a Chief Executive Officer of a start-up company, 100Percent, for 2 years
    • He holds a BA degree in Law from Seoul National University and an LLM from Georgetown Law School. He is a member of the Korean Bar Association, and a CFA and FRM charter holder. He is fluent in English and Korean

    • Clarence Ku is Orchestra’s CFO and is with Orchestra’s Singapore Office. He manages fund structuring & formation, LP reporting & IR, and GP general administration
    • Together with OPE’s partners and General Counsel, he also manages compliance and ESG

    Experiences

    • Clarence has 26 years of finance and accounting experience including investment and corporate finance, as well as private equity and venture capital
    • Prior to joining Orchestra, Clarence was the CFO and CIO at Adval Capital and at Singapore Flyer
    • He holds a CPA equivalent from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. He is a Singaporean citizen and fluent in English and Chinese

  • Injae Lee Operating Partner Singapore Office

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Injae Lee is an Operating Partner at Orchestra based out of the Seoul Office. He brings 40 years of operating experience from Korean corporations and universities
    • He is on the Board of portfolio companies

    Experiences

    • Prior to Orchestra, Injae worked with Korea Institute of Science and Technology, a multi-disciplinary research institute supported by Korean government
    • He also worked at various media companies as reporter and operator, including Kookmin Newspaper, and Korea Economic Daily
    • Most recently, Injae worked as an operator and endowment investment manager at Hanse University
    • He holds BA degree in BA degree in Business Administration from Korea National Open University

    • She manages LP reporting, investor relations and communications, marketing, and fund management

    Experiences

    • Ah Rum has more than 10 years of experience in Private Equity Funds. Prior to Orchestra, Ahrum was with Excelsior Capital, a Hong Kong based private equity firm. She covered IR and middle office in Seoul, while leading fundraising and fund management efforts in Korea
    • Ahrum also worked with Korea Investment Corporation (“KIC”) in Private Equity Team for multiple years
    • She holds a BA degree in Business Administration and English Literature from Ewha University. She is fluent in English and Korean

    • Prior to Orchestra, Dooly was with EY-Parthenon Japan and L.E.K Consulting Japan. He also worked at Rohm Semiconductors (Kyoto) and was a core member of the initial launch team for HelloFresh’s Japan operations
    • Dooly holds an iBBA from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto. He is fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean
